Good day, everyone.

[ Kotomi's voice is.. practically the same as usual, aka very monotone and blank, no matter what she's speaking about. At least she's apparently social enough today to actually use the journal to make a post.. ]

I have two important questions to everyone. I couldn't find the answers in books, so I thought maybe someone else would be able to tell me instead.. I tried to look all over for books about it, but couldn't find anything. [ There's maybe the sliightest hint of disappointment in her tone at it. ]

The first would be any more information about "tsundere".. I heard it means someone acts tough and doesn't think they need anything more, but.. any more information would be nice, too.

[ This is clearly important. ]

And secondly, what kind of stories does everyone like..? [ totally not asking in relation to a certain someone, nope. ] I wonder if there's some sort of story that could be fun for everyone, no matter who reads it. Doesn't that sound like it'd be wonderful?

[ After that there's just.. a long pause.. apparently she forgot to turn off her journal after she was done in her obliviousness. ]

Well, it's not as if I came up with that one on my own.... I'm actually really adverse to confronting others and, um, almost anything, I guess....

... I understand. [ a small nod to herself. ] Confronting bullies, for example.. that would be really, really scary. I'm sure nobody at all would like to do that.

I can think of a few people who would.

... Like some strong people I met, maybe..? Ikki-kun, Smoker-kun and Rin-kun.. I've heard they're all bully fighters.

I don't know any of those guys, but they sound pretty strong.... Spada looks like he'd be a bully, but I'm pretty sure he'd end up putting them in their place instead.

Hmm, they're all really strong. Both Ikki-kun and Smoker-kun are really big too.. Rin-kun only a little, but he was actually fighting a bully a while ago.

... Looks like he'd be a bully? How?

He just looks scary. [Hmmm.] He usually has his swords with him, and he's kind of intimidating... but if you get to know him, then he means well. The first time I saw him, he was being arrested by the Imperial guards in Regnum, and he told me when we first talked that he had expected to go to juvie, not get dragged into the Fallen -- [uhhhhhh] the... the "failing army," as he put it.

Someone with swords can be scary, but.. it could also be that they're actually someone who fights bullies, right? I've met a few people who fight bullies, and they all look really strong and intimidating, but it's a good thing..

I thought he was going to bully me when we first met.... [He wasn't so wrong about that, admittedly -- but it's less of bullying and more of just messing with him.] But he's protected me otherwise.

... I'm glad he's been protecting you so much.. It's nice to have someone to rely on, isn't it? Someone strong and kind..

It really is. I'm glad to have him.

I hope the two of you can stay together then, hopefully for a long time.. It's too sad if you'd lose each other.

I hope so too. I wonder if he thinks the same....

I feel like I'm a pain in the neck to him, most times. I mean, he still likes to hang out with me but....

... There's no way you're a pain in the neck to him. If he's such an important person to you, then surely you're important to him too..

... You're right, Kotomi. Thank you. I know these things, but I suppose I just need to hear them sometimes, too.

[ Oh, suddenly she seems to go quiet. Why? You see, unless she's referred to as 'Kotomi-chan', her brain just.. filters it out. So she doesn't even hear anything, yup. She just thinks he's quiet. ]

[But now that there's a silence, he just... thinks he said something to make it awkward. Which makes him feel awkward, and a little nervous to say anything else because what if it worsens the silence.]

[ This is the worst antisocials conversation.

Especially since Kotomi.. remains quiet.. It's clearly totally normal the other person isn't saying anything!! ]

Especially since Luca... just kind of clears his throat and... awkwards about. Because "awkward" is a legitimate verb now.]

But yes, after literal minutes have passed - probably five minutes or so, sob.. she finally speaks up again, as if that pause never happened. ]

I wonder when we're going to read books again with the book club..

[No way, it's totally the best.

He doesn't even register the fact that she spoke up for a few minutes; he's lost in thought, but he jerks out of it once he realizes there's a statement-question up in the air.]

Huh? Um... Me too. It's not so bad reading it on your own, but it feels a lot nicer with a club... Maybe you could ask Estelle about it?
