[ So if you just happen to be walking through Luceti today, you might spot a girl sitting on the ground next to a tree at the side of the road. Her journal is opened in her lap, and it seems she's rather focused on reading it. See, there's nothing weird about that, but.. she's still wearing the New Feather dress and doesn't seem bothered or confused by the whole 'arriving in another place' ordeal in the slightest as long as she can read. In fact, she probably doesn't even realise she's not back home anymore, or that she has wings on her back. She's also turning the pages at a ridiculous speed, as if she needs barely any time to read a page. It looks more like she's skimming than anything else, but nope, she's actually reading all of that. ... Maybe someone ought to help her out.

Or you might run into her later during the day instead. If you're just standing somewhere around the village, you might find the girl staring at you for a long time, almost as if she's observing you long enough to decide something. After what is probably multiple minutes the girl might approach you a little hesitantly (she's making sure you're not a bully, okay, it's in everyone's best interests), only to quickly bow at you in greeting. ]

Hello. Bonjour. Guten Tag. Konnichiwa. Nihao. Salve. Hallo. [ Yes, she'll just start listing off 'hello's in almost every kind of language known to humankind to you. And if you don't cut her off, she'll continue until she has at least done it in 54 different languages. So better do something about that, yup. ]

Not just talking ponies. The zebras and buffalo talk, too. Plus dragons and diamond dogs...

But I keep hearing how a lot of hue-mans don't have talking ponies in their world. Apparently they're like pets, which is kinda creepy.

So all the animals talk, not just the ponies.. I think I can imagine such a world. [ she nods a little. ] Dragons are different though, since they're actually not supposed to exist..

And not all ponies are kept as pets. Some live in the wild too, and others fulfill other duties.

[She flaps her wings a few times, hovering above the ground. Note the fact that... well, she's got more than her Luceti pair. Pegasus powarrr and all that.

Still, wild? ...weird.]

Dragons are definitely real in Equestria. There's even one who hangs around Ponyville.

[ It's okay, Kotomi is just not a very observant type. (Re: the time it took for her to even notice she wasn't home anymore.) She might notice it.. eventually.. sometime.. ]

I haven't even heard of this 'Equestria' or 'Ponyville' place before, and I know a lot of cities in a lot of countries.. It really must be some parallel world.

[La de da, just sorta hovering around. She looks up at the sky for a minute. Maybe she should pull down a cloud and chill...

[ ... You know, maybe she's slowly starting to notice. And with that, I actually mean she's staring for a few more minutes in silence before she finally notices it and speaks up about it. ]

... You can fly.

Well, I am a pegasus pony.

[Hover, hover, hover.]

Pegasus? Do you mean like the one from Greek mythology?

[A beat, and then she crosses her front legs... like a human would cross their arms. Normal horses can't do this, nope.]

Never heard of 'em.

[ Yes, that's pretty interesting.. It actually makes her very curious as to this all. ]

How strange. One would think you are related, with the way you can fly too..

All pegasus ponies can fly.

[She does a quick flip and looks up at the sky.]

And stand on clouds. We handle all the weather in Equestria.

So among your abilities are flying, standing on clouds and 'handling' weather..

[ yes, she's interested in all of this! and it sounds like she's immediately memorizing this. ]

Is there anything else you can do as well?

[She gets low to the ground and then shoots up like a rocket, leaving a rainbow streak in her wake. She shoots straight through the clouds, like an arrow hitting a bullseye and dives back down, landing perfectly and striking a pose.]

[ For once, Kotomi's rather blank expression turns into really amazed. She's never seen something like this, after all, so she quickly starts clapping her hands as if applauding her. ]

Wow.. That's great..!

Yep, sure is!

[And she's not afraid to pat her own back, either. Still, the applause is nice!]

And I do stuff like this all the time.

All the time..? So something that amazing is actually really normal for you?

Yep! I'm just that awesome.

[She hovers again and streeetches her front legs as if they're arms.]

[ all the ego fueling; Kotomi is good for that. ]

I wish all my friends could see how awesome you are too.

Maybe they'll show up here sometime! Then I can give 'em front row seats.

Ah, I think Nagisa-chan and Fuuko-chan are here already, though.. [ she puts up a finger to her cheek, thinking. ]

Do you know them?

[Wow, those are some... weird sounding names. She shakes her head; she'd definitely remember names like that.]

Nope, never heard of 'em.

Ah, that's too bad.. You should meet them, they are really kind people. And I'm sure they would love to see a real pegasus..

Well, what do they look like? I'll keep my eyes peeled.

Nagisa-chan is about my height, and she has short brown hair. ... Ah, she's sick right now though, so she can't go outside a lot.. [ she pauses for a moment, since that's actually pretty sad, but she does continue after that. ]

And Fuuko-chan is a little smaller, with long hair that's a bit.. green, maybe. There's a ribbon in it. ... She likes starfish a lot.

She's sick, huh? Well, maybe I can give her a personal visit.

[Because, hey, nothing to liven the mood than a little pony awesomeness.]

And green hair... I can remember that!
