[ Kotomi also doesn't think there are things more fun than hugging, but it's more since hugging's the ultimate fun activity for her.. especially since you have to do it with someone else and Kotomi doesn't want to be alone anymore by now. ]

.. I want to understand them, Ikki-kun. Maybe I should ask someone about it some day..

Right, I suppose asking would help- Wait, what will you ask them?

[Because Kotomi asking about that could go very wrong very quickly depending how it's worded.]

[ She nods, a slightly more determined look appearing on her face. ]

I'll walk right up to them, stand in front of them, and say.. "why don't you like hugging?" [ DON'T ASSUME NOBODY LIKES IT, KOTOMI.. ]

It's not that they don't like hugging. They probably they like it too, just wouldn't spend as long as us doing so.

... Then I'll walk right up to them, stand in front of them, and say.. "why don't you like hugging for hours like Ikki-kun and I do?"

[ oops, now it's embarassing. ]

Oi, no one needs to know for how long we hug each other. Don't ask it like that.

Why not..? [ She looks a little confused. Or maybe even a little sad too on top of it. ]

What's wrong with people knowing?

Nothing is wrong but they don't need to know. It won't help them understand us better and it will make something private between us not so private.

I.. I want to keep important stuff between Ikki-kun and me too, but.. I didn't know that hugging was something private. Smoker-kun and Marco-kun have already seen us hug too, right?

[ Let's not forget about that time Rin saw them while she was basically sitting on Ikki's lap too. ]

It's one thing if they see us doing so, but there's really no need to tell them.

... T.. then I won't, if Ikki-kun doesn't want me to.. [ At this rate she'll be stuck with a lot of promises, huh. ]

[He sighs and pulls her closer to him but that's not exactly possible so he just shifts, sitting with his legs stretched and pulls her until she's sitting between his legs so he can hug her from behind.]

Don't make that face, it's not as if I'm angry or annoyed. I just don't see why we would tell everyone everything about us when they don't.

But don't people want to be open with each other..? .. I guess there's some secrets everyone has to keep, but most things are just things you should tell each other.. at least, I think so.

[ She leans a little more backwards until her back is just fully leaning against his chest. ]

You really want that much for everyone to know everything about us?

[Ikki thinks that most things are things that shouldn't be told to others. At least not the general public.]

W.. well, I don't know.. I just think it'd be nice to be honest and open with everyone..

Being honest and open means that if they ask you you will answer honestly and say the truth. Not that you should run around telling them things they may not even care about knowing.

[He rests his head on her shoulder, arms wrapped around her in a loose hug. He doesn't like the idea of her telling everyone everything they do, but this should be a good compromise if she accepts it.]

If they ask you about us, you tell them everything you want. But if they don't ask there's no need to.

[ It's impossible for Kotomi to refuse anything either way, she's way too much of an obedient girl.. so she nods a little even as she sits in Ikki's arms like that. ]

Okay.. it's a promise then. I'll only tell people if they ask..

[It's something that unnerves him, he can't help it, the way she always obeys makes him feel as if he's forcing her. Doubt himself. He had never doubted himself.]

It doesn't need to be a promise, Kotomi-chan. And you don't have to do it if you really don't want to.

[He wants her to be happy, but he doesn't want her to run around telling everyone about them! He's conflicted even after she agrees, probably because she agreed to begin with.]

No, I want it to be a promise. I'm happy when I can do something that'll make Ikki-kun and everyone else happy.. that's all that matters, right?

[ She's smiling though, especially while being hold like this by him, so maybe it's okay after all? She seems happy enough, either way. ]

Silly, I'm happy with you just being with me.

[He mumbles it in a low tone as he hugs her closer and buries his face against her shoulder. Hoping that she won't really her him.]

.. I'm happy with being with Ikki-kun too... and that Ikki-kun's happy..

[ Her own tone is almost drowsy and sleepily as she replies. Watch out she doesn't just fall asleep right there comfortably in your arms, Ikki. ]

[The answer makes him want to bang his head against a wall, stupid girl hearing him. The tone though catches his attention and he peers at her face, is she falling asleep now? He doesn't really mind and will kill with a glare to whoever dares to say she can't do that in their corner in the library.]
